Friday’s Music Group (tin whistle and other instruments) with Mr. Walsh
Every Friday afternoon, children from 3rd to 6th classes are invited to come together to learn new tunes on the tin whistle with Mr. Walsh.
This is a great opportunity for pupils to learn a few more challenging tin whistle tunes, to mix with other pupils from different classes, to play some previously learned tuned together, to bring in and showcase other instruments pupils are learning from home and to accompany the tunes we play together with percussion instruments.
So far, the Boys and girls have learned Óró Sé do Bheatha Abhaile, Spancil Hill and Little Brown Jug.
Well done to all pupils! It’s wonderful to see such talented musicians enjoying themselves!
