Following on from last year’s great success and due to popular demand The Student Council have decided to hold another cake sale.
This year it will be a Valentine’s Themed Cake Sale and will be held in the school hall next Tuesday 13th of February.
This year the Student Council have decided that part of the money raised will go towards a charity (to be announced) and the remainder will go towards painting the buddy benches and buying new PE equipment.
Classes from 3rd to 6th are asked to provide baked goods (cakes/cookies/biscuits) for sale. They can be home made or store bought. If anyone in the other classes (infants to 2nd) also wishes to make something and send it in it would be more than appreciated of course.
Just a gentle reminder that we are a nut free school and would ask that you avoid sending cakes that contain nuts or traces of nuts (e.g . Nutella icing).
On the day of the sale all classes in the school will have an opportunity to buy cakes so students may bring some money to purchase cakes. Items will range from 50c-€2.50.
If sending in a tray/box that you would like returned we would please ask that you label trays with the student’s name and room number/class level on it.
